Privacy
Plain language about what is stored, where, and who can see it.
What we store
Your account (name, email, a hashed password), your dreams (title, narration, date, style, tags), the AI-derived summary and scenes, generated media URLs, generation jobs and credit usage records.
Who can see it
Only your account. Every read, update, delete and generation request checks ownership on the server. There are no public profiles and no feed. Private pages are marked not to be indexed by search engines.
Where it lives
In the MongoDB database and media storage (local disk or ImageKit) configured by the operator of this instance. Generated images are stored at non-guessable URLs. Content is encrypted in transit when the instance is served over HTTPS; it is not end-to-end encrypted, so the operator of the server can technically access the database.
Third parties
When AI features are enabled, your dream text and scene prompts are sent to the configured AI provider (for example Google Gemini) to produce analysis, images or embeddings. We do not send your dreams anywhere else and do not use them for advertising or model training.
Deletion
You can delete any dream (including its images) or your entire account from Settings at any time. Deletion is immediate in the application database; storage providers may take a short time to purge cached media.
